Our esteemed colleague, Anthony Steele, retired at the end of 2024 after nearly 40 years of practice.
During his tenure, Anthony took pride in offering superior service—ensuring clients were fully involved and informed as their matters proceeded and placing the utmost importance on quick replies to enquiries, prompt reporting and timely consultation.
Kerry McGladdery Dent has assumed carriage of all of Anthony Steele’s files.

My Practice
Oil and Gas Law. One of the few lawyers in Ontario with a special focus in this area, including leasing issues, title opinions, purchase and sale of assets, farm-in and joint venture contracts, regulatory issues including pooling and spacing matters, and appearances before the Mining and Lands Commissioner.
Corporate and Commercial Law. My experience includes all aspects of business transactions, including incorporations, contractual matters, and purchasing and selling assets or shares.
Commercial Real Estate and Land Development. I have experience in acquisitions and divestitures of real property assets and advise on development issues such as severance applications and rezoning.
Community
A father and a grandfather, Tony is active in the community. In his spare time, he enjoys nature and the outdoors.
